Campaign Update
I just wanted to give you all a quick update on the campaign.
With only 12 days left we are staying busy knocking on doors, making calls, and meeting as many Lexington voters as possible. People want a Family Court Judge who has practiced family law in the trenches and so the response to our campaign continues to be great.
There is still time to get involved with the campaign. If you would like to join us knocking on doors, getting literature out, or even putting up a yard sign, please let me know.

JENNIFER MCVAY MARTIN ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY FOR FAYETTE CO. FAMILY COURT JUDGE
Martin files with Kentucky Secretary of State to run in the 22nd Judicial Circuit, 6th Division
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington attorney and business leader, Jennifer McVay Martin, announces her candidacy for Family Court Judge in the 22nd Judicial Circuit, 6th Division. Martin filed today with the Kentucky Secretary of State officially launching her campaign to serve as next Fayette County Family Court Judge.
“I am excited about the opportunity to continue to serve the families of Fayette County and Kentucky,” said Martin. “I will bring real-world experience and compassion to the bench, which I have learned while fighting for and serving Fayette County’s families as a long-standing practicing family law attorney.”
Martin is the principle partner at the Law Office of Jennifer McVay Martin, PSC, where she has been in private practice serving Fayette County and Kentucky families since 2003. In this role, Martin has seen firsthand the effects of the Family Court on Fayette County’s families and children. Martin has handled cases in all areas of family law and served as court appointed counsel for parents and children in family court. It is this real-world experience and expertise that motivates Martin’s intent to enter the race for Family Court Judge.
Martin is a Lexington native and earned both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Kentucky. She is married to James Martin and is the mother of two; Connor, 8 and Reagan, 6.
